A 34cm (14") antique Javanese style seated Heramba Ganesha, beautifully cast in bronze with a richly aged, characterful patina. Heramba, a rare and powerful form of Ganesha, is especially revered as a fierce protector and bestower of courage.
Unlike the more familiar single-headed Ganesha, Heramba is portrayed here with five heads, expressing his dominion over the five elements—earth, water, fire, air, and ether—and the many facets of his divine personality. He sits in calm poise, yet radiates strength, with multiple arms holding emblematic attributes such as an axe, conch shell, lotus bud, broken tusk, and other sacred objects. One right hand is raised in a gesture of protection, while a left hand is extended in boon-giving mudra, signifying blessings, reassurance, and grace.

Large and/or fragile pieces requiring palletising, specialist crating and/or extra packaging may take a little longer. Palletised shipments will be delivered curbside.
