An antique Thai style bronze Vishnu statue. The Vishnu is seated, in the vajra position with his right leg is panhandle, on a simple pedestal and clad in a long, decorated sampot.
His neck, body and arms are glad in jewels. The face with narrow features surmounted by a cylindrical headdress. These represents purity, compassion and the giving of great joy to all.
Here Vishnu, as the protector and preserver, is holding a hoe or rake in his hand.
His softly contoured face with indigenous characteristic has a serene downcast expression, with heavy-lidded eyes, arched eyebrows carved in relief meet in the middle above a well-shaped broad nose, and narrow lips with a serene smile are beauty lines upon the neck.

Large and/or fragile pieces requiring palletising, specialist crating and/or extra packaging may take a little longer. Palletised shipments will be delivered curbside.
