    Une superbe paire de figures de gardien de temple ou de lion de style khmer antique, dans la période Angkor, style du 10e siècle de Banteay Srei.

    Les «gardiens de la porte» sont placés autour de l'extérieur d'un temple pour servir à la fois de salutations et de défenseurs, ils étaient spécifiquement destinés à protéger les principales entrées des temples.

    Chaque statue est coulée en rond pour montrer un corps fort avec une coiffure ornée avec des lèvres pleines et des yeux en forme d'amande avec des élèves incisés sous les sourcils incurvés doucement. Le casting de chaque pièce est magnifique comme vous pouvez le voir dans les beaux détails du visage. Chaque détail est parfaitement rendu.

    La patine distinctive de chaque pièce est également particulièrement délicieuse. Cette pièce en apparence traditionnelle ajoutera à coup sûr sérénité à votre maison, bureau ou espace sacré.
